Description Of Work: Bill and his carpentry partner replaced half a staircase in my basement. We'd had the basement floor lowered and the existing stairs did not meet the floor. Bill and his partner had done a lot of prep work before they came to the house so it did not take long to install. The existing landing was very uneven so they made sure the new stairs were well secured and level. They kept me informed throughout the process and gave me options when an unforeseen issue arose. I'm pleased with them and the work they did.

He is always very clear about what he can do, what he recommends, and how he can work with us to get what we want for the best value. He never sub-contracts work and he will bring in other people to help him out as the project requires. His carpentry partner seemed extremely knowledgeable and was as nice and professional as Bill is. When Bill came out to do the estimate for this job he looked at a few other projects we were considering. He was extremely helpful in his advice. I currently have plans to work with him on built-in shelving and replacing an exterior door and storm door.
